Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 20) Raul Ibañez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Ibañez came free, but Claudio Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reynaldo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Nuñez in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Leones defense, Raul Ibañez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Abeitia. The Leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Abeitia should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones's goalkeeper Claudio Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Tomás Carlomagno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Leones booed when Piquera Teem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Desiderio Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Leones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Mederi couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Desiderio Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Desiderio Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquera Teem's Fabricio Aires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Abeitia came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Piquera Teem's Reynaldo Nuñez. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Mederi made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Desiderio Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Desiderio Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Claudio Abeitia made a huge save. The long shot by Timoteo Noe in the 64th minute really tested Claudio Abeitia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Leones getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Humberto Mundo hit a great ball. Reynaldo Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Piquera Teem's Raul Ibañez in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leones's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Desiderio Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Vedillo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Aires saved Piquera Teem from getting behind. Desiderio Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fabricio Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Mauricio Goiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piquera Teem's Fabricio Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Vedillo in the 87th minute of play. Fabricio Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Serafin Vedillo made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Aires. Piquera Teem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The Piquera Teem players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leones from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
