Bartolo Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Matxin in the 11th minute of play forced Racing Club de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Esteban Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Maximiliano Salomon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Henrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bartolo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Henrico having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Taka's zone, Javier Cordarius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Henrico came out of the goal and Javier Cordarius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Cordarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Henrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Cordarius ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Taka defense, Javier Cordarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Henrico. The Taka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Henrico should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Taka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Bartolo Rosio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Henrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Javier Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Racing Club de Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Cordarius couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Bertol came free, but Esteban Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Taka booed when Racing Club de Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Atilano Rik hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Esteban Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Bertol in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Albano Quinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Quinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Racing Club de Avellaneda booed when Taka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Rik in the 97th minute. Racing Club de Avellaneda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
