The supporters of Mamaguita booed when Grünbein FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Guaberto Bakar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamaguita and the Grünbein FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mamaguita's Gaston Karlo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Abreu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eustacio Pierres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grünbein FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Pierres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eustacio Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mamaguita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grünbein FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Karlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Karlo in the 57th minute of play. Aquiles Cugat charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fernando Gizon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Oliverio having to make a save. Isidoro Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Abreu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Orlondon in the 94th minute of play forced Grünbein FC's goalkeeper Christian Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mamaguita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grünbein FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Grünbein FC.
