After 6 minutes, Leon Paublo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artigal FC and the Mamaguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Artigal FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leon Paublo hit a great ball. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mamaguita! Nicanor Leobardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Oliverio having to make a save. Nicanor Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Segundo Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artigal FC. Nicanor Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Segundo Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Leobardo in the 19th minute of play forced Mamaguita's goalkeeper Segundo Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Elias Cordarryl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Teobaldo Monico came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mamaguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Monico couldn't finish the play. After 25 minutes, Daniel Favila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artigal FC and the Mamaguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Artigal FC's Daniel Favila got a free kick in the 25th minute. Nicanor Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Segundo Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Artigal FC's Nicanor Leobardo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamaguita's goalie prevented a goal. Segundo Oliverio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Leobardo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Leobardo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Oliverio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segundo Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Nicanor Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daniel Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Segundo Oliverio was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Nicanor Leobardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicanor Leobardo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Artigal FC's Octavio Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Claus in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Mamaguita's goalkeeper Segundo Oliverio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Favila. Segundo Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Paublo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Artigal FC's Nicanor Leobardo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamaguita's goalie prevented a goal. Segundo Oliverio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Leobardo in the 63rd minute. When Nicanor Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Artigal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Nicanor Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Oliverio having to interfere. Nicanor Leobardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Oliverio having to make a save. After 78 minutes of play, Artigal FC's Nicanor Leobardo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Oliverio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nicanor Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Artigal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Paublo to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Claus scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Bizen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 92 played minutes Mamaguita got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Cugat. Artigal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
