Aureliano Castel might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Baleren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Castel ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Montefiore FC's Filiberto Haritzeder got control of the ball when Tomás Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aureliano Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th play minute Tomás Fanuco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filiberto Haritzeder. 1-0. Lázaro Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Raimundo Baleren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montefiore FC. When Mateo Eneko came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Montefiore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Eneko couldn't finish the play. If Mateo Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Mateo Eneko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Baleren having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Castel was the one to do the kick off. Filiberto Haritzeder came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Chilcas AFC's Norberto Martxot. But to his dismay, Norberto Martxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Filiberto Haritzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Oinaz in the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Chilcas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Bastiaro came free, but Raimundo Baleren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chilcas AFC's zone, Severino Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Baleren came out of the goal and Severino Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nereo Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Gualterio Quinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Mateo Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montefiore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Eneko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chilcas AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Norberto Martxot hit a great ball. Lázaro Bastiaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raimundo Baleren came out and tried to block the shot, but Lázaro Bastiaro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 77th minute. Omar Guter hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Aureliano Castel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Baleren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Aureliano Castel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chilcas AFC's Raimundo Baleren. Raimundo Baleren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimundo Baleren was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Lázaro Bastiaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Bastiaro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When the match was over Montefiore FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chilcas AFC throughout the match.
