The penalty shot was made by Ernesto Hori, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barrow's Constantino Markel. 1-0. In the 30th minute Horacio Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Marcelino Mendez put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Constantino Markel. In the 40th play minute Marcelino Mendez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantino Markel. 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Truylos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ovara booed when Barrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Gabriel Gaxan took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Roque Gervaso to make any attempt to save it. Constantino Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Truylos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Marcelino Mendez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Markel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. If Leopoldo Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Barrow's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Mendez came free, but Constantino Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Truylos took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Markel. Constantino Markel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Marcelino Mendez took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Markel.
