Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benicio Txilar started the match with the kick off. Benicio Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Iturri having to interfere. When Evelio Kiliz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Nano F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Kiliz couldn't finish the play. In the 11thth minute of the game Benicio Txilar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merlina FC's Ezequiel Iturri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Txilar in the 13th minute of play forced Merlina FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, one of Nano F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nano F.C. When Florentino Henry fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merlina FC's protests and gave Florentino Henry a yellow card for diving instead. 22 minutes into the game, one of Merlina FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Nano F.C. Mauricio Enmanuel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ezequiel Iturri. 1-1. The supporters of Nano F.C booed when Merlina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Peruanton made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Filomeno Panfilo sent off a good shot on target. Nicanor Estevez struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Isaias Peruanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merlina FC. In the 40th minute of the match Eloy Cayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Iturri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Merlina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Txilar came free, but Ezequiel Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Nano F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Adan Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Peruanton having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Panfilo was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Merlina FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Estevez. A long shot from Eloy Cayo in the 59th minute of play was well struck, but Ezequiel Iturri made a really good save at the right post. In the 70th minute, Benicio Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Nano F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Panfilo came free, but Isaias Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Nano F.C got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Martino. Maximiliano Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Iturri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Txilar's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to Nano F.C getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Urbano Cucao hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Benicio Txilar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ezequiel Iturri. Benicio Txilar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Txilar in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Iturri prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
