He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River Plate reached it. If Generoso Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. River Plate's Anselmo Cordairo pulled a muscle in his leg after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 69 played minutes poolman got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Cayo. If Generoso Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alonzo Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Milio having to interfere. Jairo Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Perrando having to make a save. Moises Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Ignado charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Ignado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Ignado to maneuver through the defense.
