The referee ignored Que Parezca Un Accidente's protests and gave Marciano Eguntsenti a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Que Parezca Un Accidente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Diadema:s goal. The referee gave Diadema a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Erramun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Que Parezca Un Accidente's Bartolo Abajas. 2-0. Bartolo Abajas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Lluis in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Florentino Bela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Neto when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
