When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Flor made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Everardo Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saujil AFC and the Berraondo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berraondo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberto Larpe in the 54th minute. At last the ball reached Jimeno Fresco at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Saujil AFC. 1-2. In the 60th minute of the match, Cristian Flor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clodoveo Txurio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Flor in the 62nd minute of play forced Saujil AFC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Txurio having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Clodoveo Txurio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Everardo Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Damian Acuña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saujil AFC. Jimeno Fresco might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodoveo Txurio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Fresco ran back to his position shaking his head. If Everardo Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Everardo Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Berraondo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Rutenio. The Berraondo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Berraondo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
