The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's Erasmo Etxahun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Salvino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, one of Apuyaco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apuyaco. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marco Dunixi hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Etxahun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Figueroa came free, but Camilo Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Abar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Boca Junior.
