The Wolf's Mariano Asier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save The Wolf from getting a goal against them. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Abar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Nahia in the 16th minute of play forced The Wolf's goalkeeper Mariano Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pastor Arce fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Wolf's protests and gave Pastor Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Wolf's Pastor Arce got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cosme Nahia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mariano Asier 18 minutes into the match. Apuyaco's Camilo Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Louis in the 22nd minute of play. The Wolf's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cosme Nahia 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Camilo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Bibiano in the 28th minute of play. Mariano Asier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Etxahun in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cristian Koldobika hit a great ball. When Nicanor Louis got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Camilo Abar was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Isaias Phelipe scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Abar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

56 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goalkeeper Camilo Abar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Louis. After a rather tough play, The Wolf's Isaias Phelipe got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fabian Osmundo, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Israel Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Camilo Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marco Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apuyaco's protests and gave Marco Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. Nicanor Louis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Camilo Abar made a huge save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Israel Bibiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apuyaco's Camilo Abar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicanor Louis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Cosme Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Asier having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Apuyaco got a freekick which was hit by Marco Dunixi. After 81 played minutes, The Wolf's Modesto Fortun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Abar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Wolf reached it. In the 88th minute Cosme Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Wolf's Isaias Phelipe got a free kick in the 88th minute. Erasmo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Asier having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Wolf's zone, Cosme Nahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Asier came out of the goal and Cosme Nahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Wolf players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Apuyaco.
