But to his dismay, Erasmo Etxahun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leo Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Etxahun in the 17th minute of the match. Leo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Nahia in the 20th minute of play. Erasmo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Roderigo having to interfere. If Erasmo Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Leo Roderigo went to the wrong direction when Fabian Osmundo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Cosme Nahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Eustaquio Iago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Osmundo was slow to take the kick. During this time Apuyaco's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Apuyaco's corner Fabian Osmundo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leo Roderigo quite easily take care of the ball. Apuyaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Apuyaco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apuyaco. The goalkeeper, Camilo Abar, was totally fooled by MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE's Amado Quirce, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Nahia in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE's Eustaquio Iago got a free kick in the 57th minute. Cosme Nahia spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of MA HALCON FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal. Cosme Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leo Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Etxahun got free with Leo Roderigo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
