In the 4th match minute, Miraflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Tonete was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cosme Llanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Dimo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 9th match minute, Liniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Pedroso having to interfere. A hard shot 15 in the game by Santiago Jorrin from a close distance when the talented Ladislao Pedroso managed to make a qualified save. Miraflores's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Agustin Abecia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Pedroso was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Victorino Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Dimo. Liniers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Victorino Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leopoldo Dimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Abilio got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 29 played minutes Miraflores got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Abilio. Agustin Abecia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ladislao Pedroso made a huge save. Cosme Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Jorrin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Zacarias Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Miraflores were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Llanos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Abecia in the 56th minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Ladislao Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Agustin Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liniers's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Abecia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosme Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leopoldo Dimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Jerardo during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Liniers booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ladislao Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Miraflores defense, Agustin Abecia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Pedroso. The Miraflores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Pedroso should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Liniers's Santiago Jorrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Santiago Jorrin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Pedroso having to make a save. Cosme Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Dimo having to interfere. Liniers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
