After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Carmelo Gauargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curne's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Gauargi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Abar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Feliciano Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apuyaco's Camilo Abar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Apuyaco from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Olivar during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curne fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Apuyaco. Fabian Osmundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Domingues. 0-1. Erasmo Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julio Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Cristian Koldobika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apuyaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curne the free kick. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco's Cristian Koldobika got a free kick in the 20th minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Apuyaco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nereo Cidro was slow to take the kick. During this time Curne's players had a chance to rest. Curne's Nereo Cidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camilo Abar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 26 played minutes Apuyaco got a freekick which was hit by Marco Dunixi. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Carmelo Gauargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camilo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Gauargi in the 33rd minute of play. Camilo Abar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Gauargi in the 37th minute. If Aurelio Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Gauargi in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmelo Gauargi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Abar. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Nahia was the one to do the kick off. When Ricardo Olivar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. The supporters of Apuyaco booed when Curne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Curne's Florencio Opilano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Simon Dodorol made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Curne's Florencio Opilano. After having played for 67 minutes, Carmelo Gauargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Gauargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Feliciano Paz came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Curne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Paz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Gauargi in the 72nd minute of play forced Apuyaco's goalkeeper Camilo Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carmelo Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Feliciano Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Izel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Camilo Abar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curne. Carmelo Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Abar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Gauargi in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Abar saved Apuyaco from getting behind. Camilo Abar came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Curne's Feliciano Paz. But to his dismay, Feliciano Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Apuyaco's Camilo Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Gauargi in the 94th minute of play. Florencio Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Camilo Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Curne were the better team. Curne's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
