Israel Bibiano started the match with the kick off. Mariano Asier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Abecia's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Liniers defense, Israel Bibiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Dimo. The Liniers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Dimo should have stopped the shot. Santiago Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Bibiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Evaristo Urtsua took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Dimo. Liniers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, The Wolf's Nicanor Louis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Dimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Liniers's Leopoldo Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Louis in the 38th minute of play. Israel Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Dimo having to interfere. Israel Bibiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Dimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Israel Bibiano ran back to his position shaking his head. The Liniers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Wolf were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Abecia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Santiago Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liniers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Jorrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mauricio Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liniers's protests and gave Mauricio Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Liniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Liniers's Leopoldo Dimo got control of the ball when Nicanor Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Timoteo Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Arce during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute Israel Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Bibiano in the 81st minute of play. The Wolf's Nicanor Louis got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Israel Bibiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicanor Louis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Dimo made a huge save. If Nicanor Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Bibiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Dimo having to make a save. Israel Bibiano struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leopoldo Dimo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Wolf. Nicanor Louis might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Dimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Louis ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over The Wolf could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liniers throughout the match.
