Buenos Aires Sur's Jorge Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Buenos Aires Sur got a freekick which was hit by Severo Ortzi. After 13 played minutes Narciso Caton rounded Nojiren FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Jorge Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Nojiren FC's Anier Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Lain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Nojiren FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcelo Admon hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Anier Acevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Lain. Buenos Aires Sur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Acevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 29th minute Narciso Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Acevedo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Lain. Horacio Lain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Horacio Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Neron's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Cecilio Neron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Caton was the one to do the kick off. When Anier Acevedo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Nojiren FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Acevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Cecilio Neron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, one of Buenos Aires Sur:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Nojiren FC's Narciso Furtado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Horacio Lain. Anier Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Horacio Lain made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Neron in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Lain saved Buenos Aires Sur from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nojiren FC's zone, Jorge Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Beremundo came out of the goal and Jorge Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nojiren FC's Melquiades Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Lordi in the 90th minute of play. Anier Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Horacio Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Neron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Lain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 minutes of play Nojiren FC's Narciso Evarado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th minute, Narciso Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Caton in the 99th minute of play forced Nojiren FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Beremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Buenos Aires Sur supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nojiren FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nojiren FC.
