In the 38th of the match, Claudio Orlan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Evelio Nofre got in the way and made a wonderful save. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Merlo's Dante Leizarraga tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Narciso Ferdinand hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Bartolo Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Eneko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Eneko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Valerio was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Flavio Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Txartiko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bolchevique booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Carlos Ermengol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Merlo's Roque Valerio didn't even have to move. Flavio Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolo Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Valerio having to interfere. The supporters of Bolchevique booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bolchevique were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
