The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Real Bañil's Alfredo Lain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Eate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marciano Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Francisco Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Serafin Gonsalve fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Bañil's protests and gave Serafin Gonsalve a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Bañil's Serafin Gonsalve got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of HUNGERS FC booed when Real Bañil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as HUNGERS FC's Francisco Inocente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Silban. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Francisco Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cristian Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Silban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Inocente in the 23rd minute of play. Francisco Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Francisco Inocente came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the HUNGERS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Inocente couldn't finish the play. Amancio Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Silban having to interfere. Real Bañil's Cristian Silban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Real Bañil from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Francisco Inocente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristian Silban, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Inocente in the 57th minute of play forced Real Bañil's goalkeeper Cristian Silban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Jacobo Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Silban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Francisco Inocente ran back to his position shaking his head. If Victor Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Ramond came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Real Bañil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Ramond couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, HUNGERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Errando's late challenge caught a Real Bañil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Errando helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th match minute, HUNGERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Errando to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Victor Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Bañil's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Ramond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HUNGERS FC had won after a very even match.
