Adhemar Porto came out of the goal and Emanuel Otoniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, K4sc0t3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Egoi came free, but Adhemar Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Cheminea AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto Abascal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Higinio Egoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adhemar Porto. K4sc0t3 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Egoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Elias Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Barrionuevo in the 29th minute of play. Higinio Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Porto having to interfere. In the 40th minute Emanuel Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adhemar Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Adhemar Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Artal's late challenge caught a Cheminea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Artal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cheminea AFC booed when K4sc0t3 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Egoi in the 74th minute of play forced K4sc0t3 FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Amador Barrionuevo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the K4sc0t3 FC and the Cheminea AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
