Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Manni got the match started through his kick off. Luis Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Valerio in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Ayacucho's Ricardo Mendebal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Nafarroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Manni in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Nafarroa saved Hernández FC from getting behind. Luis Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Manni in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Hernández FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anselmo Tomi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Dantae in the 23rd minute of play forced Ayacucho's goalkeeper Anier Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Sugoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apolo Miro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. Anier Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Miro in the 28th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Anselmo Manni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernández FC's Luis Nafarroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Hegoi's late challenge caught a Ayacucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Hegoi helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Hernández FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Hegoi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Manni in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Nafarroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Hernández FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ayacucho were winning 1-2.

After having played for 55 minutes, Anselmo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayacucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Manni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Dalmu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Ayacucho's Anselmo Manni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Nafarroa. Luis Nafarroa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Ricardo Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luis Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78th play minutes Anselmo Manni shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Luis Nafarroa and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Hernández FC's Luis Nafarroa got control of the ball when Anselmo Manni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A hard shot by Fermin Ubelteso from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Luis Nafarroa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anselmo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayacucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ayacucho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
