Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saturnino Odon started the match with the kick off. Saturnino Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Ovando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Pehuajó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Odon came free, but Leonides Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hugo Librado came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pehuajó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Librado couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Onofre came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Pehuajó FC's Gabriel Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Gabriel Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pehuajó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dalmacio Erdiano in the 26th minute. The corner led Pehuajó FC's Dalmacio Erdiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Dionisio Onofre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Saturnino Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Casomiro in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonides Ovando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erasmo Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Onofre having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Erasmo Panpili notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Canton United's Dionisio Onofre. Dionisio Onofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Librado in the 47th minute of play forced Canton United's goalkeeper Dionisio Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Panpili kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dionisio Onofre. That made the score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Erasmo Panpili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dionisio Onofre made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Higinio Louis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pehuajó FC the free kick. The supporters of Pehuajó FC booed when Canton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hugo Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Onofre was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. With a little luck, Canton United's Dionisio Onofre got control of the ball when Erasmo Panpili tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Saturnino Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Panpili's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dionisio Onofre firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dionisio Onofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Librado in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Canton United's Saturnino Odon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Ovando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Hugo Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Onofre was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 87 played minutes Canton United got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Louis. 88 minutes into the match, Canton United's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Librado came free, but Dionisio Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canton United's Dionisio Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Librado in the 89th minute of play. Erasmo Panpili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dionisio Onofre made a huge save.
