Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Luisito Rameriz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hector Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes CHIVA FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Belarmo. 29 minutes into the match, CHIVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hanot came free, but Jacobo Lalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carril booed when CHIVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hector Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Goiz during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carril's Baltasar Goiz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Alfonso Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Rameriz having to interfere.

The wind increased when Tomas Feo made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, one of Carril:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carril. When Hector Hanot came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Carril fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Hanot couldn't finish the play. Sixto Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, CHIVA FC's Filiberto Esdras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Rameriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Carril's Luisito Rameriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Satordi in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Carril getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Isidro James hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Filiberto Esdras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Carril's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Satordi came free, but Luisito Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Carril got a freekick which was hit by Isidro James. If Alfonso Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, CHIVA FC's Domingo Belarmo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Rameriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alfonso Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CHIVA FC's Alfonso Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jacobo Lalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carril's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
