Tadeo Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Txeru in the 20th minute of the match. Tadeo Galeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Cucao went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tadeo Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Botello in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Dorio saved Golondrinas Fc from getting behind. Narciso Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Botello in the 32nd minute. If Eustacio Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golondrinas Fc's Narciso Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Botello in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Osvaldo Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramblones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Osvaldo Botello came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ramblones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Botello couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramblones's goalkeeper Tadeo Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Botello to strike the kick off in the second half. Narciso Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Golondrinas Fc's zone, Sergio Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Dorio came out of the goal and Sergio Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramblones's Tadeo Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ramblones from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Cucao in the 69th minute of play. Osvaldo Botello struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Narciso Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramblones. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Americo Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golondrinas Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Galeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Golondrinas Fc booed when Ramblones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Ramblones failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
