Silvio Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bruno Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Santa Fe getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Angelo Rosalio hit a great ball. Adan Abeijon spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Deportivo Santa Fe's goal. Faustino Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pasos de los toros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Santa Fe the free kick. Bruno Lawrence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Santa Fe. Pasos de los toros's Bruno Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Gimenez in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Pasos de los toros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Fliz to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes of play, Deportivo Santa Fe's Silvio Inautzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Lawrence was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Gimenez to make the kick off. When Pasos de los toros's Adan Abeijon in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Santa Fe's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Abeijon in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Odilon saved Deportivo Santa Fe from getting behind. Bruno Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gimenez in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Faustino Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasos de los toros's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Faustino Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Odilon. Deportivo Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Silvio Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Candido Odilon came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Pasos de los toros's Faustino Cordareo. But to his dismay, Faustino Cordareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Pasos de los toros's Bruno Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Inautzi in the 90th minute of play. When Faustino Cordareo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pasos de los toros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Cordareo couldn't finish the play. Pasos de los toros's Faustino Cordareo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Pasos de los toros left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Santa Fe.
