If Faustino Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Moreira AFC booed when Pasos de los toros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Leo Bermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasos de los toros's Bruno Lawrence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Americo Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Moreira AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Faustino Cordareo scored to the left of an out of position Americo Vellito, making the score, 1-1. Moreira AFC's Juan Normando got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Adan Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Moreira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Bonifaco. After some careless play in the Moreira AFC defense, Faustino Cordareo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Vellito. The Moreira AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Vellito should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Bermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustino Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Americo Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Cordareo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreira AFC's goalkeeper Americo Vellito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pasos de los toros's Adan Abeijon got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Cordareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute, Artemio Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pasos de los toros players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
