After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gavino Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lizarr F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Guter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Efren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Angel Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ulises Senin came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Lizarr F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Senin couldn't finish the play. When Chacarita AFC's Modesto Nalo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lizarr F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Gervasio Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Lizarr F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chacarita AFC:s goal. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Chacarita AFC. Ismael Domingues stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rene Maldonado. 0-1. After 30 played minutes Chacarita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Inko. A collision led to Chacarita AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rosendo Inko hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Guter in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Isauro saved Chacarita AFC from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Julio Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita AFC and the Lizarr F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Chacarita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Inko. Gavino Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Aguilera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Angel Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filiberto Pere came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lizarr F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Pere couldn't finish the play. Julio Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Maldonado having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Gervasio Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Maldonado having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Lizarr F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Bautista came free, but Rene Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chacarita AFC's Angel Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Guter in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Chacarita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Guter came free, but Angel Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lizarr F.C's Florencio Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Chacarita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Jakue to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Isauro having to interfere. Gervasio Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Maldonado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. The Chacarita AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lizarr F.C from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
