The referee ignored Chacarita AFC's protests and gave Rosendo Inko a yellow card for diving instead. Rosendo Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Mantzio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Isauro saved Chacarita AFC from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Domingos Ederono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayajaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ayajaso's Domingos Ederono got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gervasio Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Naldo having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Saul Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chacarita AFC booed when Ayajaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball.
