When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Anacleto Orlan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilbert Wallach to make any attempt to save it. Humberto Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Eustaquio Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Gai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper Gilbert Wallach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Poncio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Pasqual saved Zodiaco FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Porvenir Talleres's Ovidio Ipar got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Anacleto Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Ilixo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Orlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Porvenir Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Orlan came free, but Gilbert Wallach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Eustaquio Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvenir Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabricio Gabon hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Zodiaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Leonardo Ilixo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zodiaco FC's Humberto Pasqual did a great save. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Orlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Wallach was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Porvenir Talleres's Gilbert Wallach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Fe in the 85th minute of play. Porvenir Talleres's Carolo Gai got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zodiaco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porvenir Talleres had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
