A collision led to Zodiaco FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Domingo Monte hit a great ball. Benjamin Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Nataniel in the 20th minute of play forced Zodiaco FC's goalkeeper Humberto Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Humberto Pasqual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua Junior. In the 23rd minute Benjamin Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benito Fe came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zodiaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Fe couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Orlan in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Sanduru saved Rancagua Junior from getting behind.
