After a defensive mix-up in Viedma FC's zone, Eduardo Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Austin came out of the goal and Eduardo Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Hegoi in the 44th minute of play forced Viedma FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Rodeopampa AFC's Roman Hegoi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Austin was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Abechuco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rodeopampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Abechuco came free, but Tomas Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Austin having to interfere. If Flavio Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roman Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edgardo Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
