The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Ibon got free with Lisandro Calvet in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nemesio Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Calvet having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Madaleno made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Covello FC's Marcelo Rivero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ermegildo Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Manuel Cordeara's late challenge caught a Milenio Oscuro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Cordeara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Milenio Oscuro booed when Covello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Rumaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Fulgencio Madaleno, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lisandro Calvet was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Etxekopar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milenio Oscuro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covello FC the free kick. A collision led to Milenio Oscuro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ermegildo Etxekopar hit a great ball. Covello FC played a much better game than Milenio Oscuro and deserved their victory. The Milenio Oscuro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
