Isaias Orkatz scored 1-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Gaitano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Isaias Orkatz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viedma FC's protests and gave Isaias Orkatz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Viedma FC's Isaias Orkatz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Casimiro Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Chucky Ferreyra FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Abechuco came free, but Casimiro Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Orkatz in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Gaitano saved Chucky Ferreyra FC. from getting behind. Isaias Orkatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Gaitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Orkatz ran back to his position shaking his head. Viedma FC's Isaias Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaston Firman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Austin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Gilberto Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Abechuco in the 46th minute of play forced Chucky Ferreyra FC.'s goalkeeper Casimiro Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isaias Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Viedma FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edgardo Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Firman in the 53rd minute of play. Casimiro Gaitano was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Isaias Orkatz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaias Orkatz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 62nd minute Gilberto Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Firman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Firman in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
