Spectators: 6933 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustino Gabino kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anibal Astrada sped through Covello FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Calvet. Manuel Cordeara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Roman Tibalt made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Astrada in the 9th minute of play forced Covello FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Cordearas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Roman Tibalt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 24 in the game by Manuel Cordeara from a close distance when the talented Roman Tibalt managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Almafuerte's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almafuerte's Bartolo Weterio got a free kick in the 25th minute. Manuel Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Roman Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anibal Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Gabino in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Calvet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Manuel Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cordeara in the 56th minute of play. Faustino Gabino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandro Calvet came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustino Gabino slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. When Siro Jacob fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Covello FC's protests and gave Siro Jacob a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Covello FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Jacob. Anibal Astrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Roman Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Calvet having to interfere. Roman Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cordeara in the 95th minute of play. The Covello FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Almafuerte's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Almafuerte.
