When Bartolo Weterio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Almafuerte's protests and gave Bartolo Weterio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Almafuerte getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bartolo Weterio hit a great ball. Gervasio Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Lico in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Tibalt saved Deportivo Almafuerte from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Ireno came free, but Roman Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Deportivo Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Gabino. Gervasio Lico succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Teo Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Veneno Mandarin got a freekick which was hit by Teo Rius. When Anibal Astrada came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo Almafuerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Astrada couldn't finish the play. Atilano Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Gabino in the 30th minute of the match. Atilano Endira made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Anibal Astrada sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Veneno Mandarin's Atilano Endira got control of the ball when Anibal Astrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atilano Endira was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Faustino Gabino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Lico to make the kick off. Roman Tibalt came out of the goal and Florencio Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Almafuerte's Roman Tibalt got control of the ball when Florencio Ireno tried to sneak it across the goal line.
