But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Belo couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Putrachoique FC's Daniel Belo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roman Tibalt. Roman Tibalt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Santos Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Gabino in the 11th minute of play. Javier Maore struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Roman Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putrachoique FC. Nemesio Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tibalt having to interfere. Santos Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Astrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Gabino charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Gabino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Putrachoique FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benjamin Eriz hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Faustino Gabino made the kick off in the second half. Putrachoique FC's Cristian Nevada suffered a fractured collar bone after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 53 minutes into the game, Apolo Maria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Almafuerte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putrachoique FC the free kick. Nemesio Mercurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roman Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Astrada got free with Santos Millan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute of the match Julian Gergori sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Millan skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Anibal Astrada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Javier Maore hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Putrachoique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Maore to maneuver through the defense. Putrachoique FC's Santos Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Putrachoique FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Putrachoique FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Daniel Belo hit a great ball. Anibal Astrada might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Astrada ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Millan having to interfere. Faustino Gabino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santos Millan came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustino Gabino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Faustino Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Almafuerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tibalt having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Nemesio Mercurio notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Deportivo Almafuerte's Roman Tibalt. Roman Tibalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nemesio Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
