An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Chumo in the 15th minute of play forced Chucky Ferreyra FC.'s goalkeeper Casimiro Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilberto Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Badajoz's Domingo Belarmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Gaitano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Casimiro Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Chumo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Casimiro Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Gaitano came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Badajoz's Domingo Belarmo. But to his dismay, Domingo Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Chucky Ferreyra FC. booed when Club Deportivo Badajoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Badajoz's goalkeeper Gonzalo Jacindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Firman. After having played for 58 minutes, Gilberto Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chucky Ferreyra FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Eleazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Chumo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Gaitano was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Gilberto Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Jacindo having to interfere. Gonzalo Jacindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Eleazar in the 83rd minute of the match. Casimiro Gaitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Badajoz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Chano during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
