Delmiro Vasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Orlondo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Vasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute of the match General Roca got a corner. Cafferata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cafferata's zone, Rene Orlondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Vasco came out of the goal and Rene Orlondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Eudoxio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. General Roca had played much better football throughout.
