Justino Taurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Yocán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Amato came free, but Alfredo Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cleto Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Yocán FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleto Henry fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Pedro Amato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Orti was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Amato in the 52nd minute of play forced Yocán FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Orti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Cleto Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yocán FC's Alfredo Orti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tonono's Alfredo Erroman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Tonono from getting a goal against them. Justino Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Erroman having to interfere.
