The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiburcio Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Henry in the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Refugio during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pinchas FC booed when Tonono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Amato in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Pinchas FC were awarded a corner. Baldomero Tercero went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Tonono booed when Pinchas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Senin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tiburcio Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonono's Pedro Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pinchas FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Amador Fe hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Henry in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Ibañez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Cleto Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Amato in the 32nd minute of play. Cleto Henry struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tiburcio Ibañez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonono. Pinchas FC's Tiburcio Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Amato in the 35th minute of play. If Cleto Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Pinchas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Fe to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Pere took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Ibañez. Pinchas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tonono's Cleto Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Tonono's Pedro Amato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Ibañez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Gonsalve made a kick off. Tonono's Pedro Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Teodosio Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match Pinchas FC got a corner. Tonono's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baldomero Tercero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Baldomero Tercero made a great header on Pinchas FC's corner, it was just that Tonono's Alfredo Erroman managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Pinchas FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Pedro Madeo hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Tonono's Cleto Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Ibañez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 68th match minute, Tonono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Bartuelo to maneuver through the defense. Amador Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Pinchas FC booed when Tonono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Liberto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Cleto Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Ibañez made a huge save. After 88 played minutes, Tonono's Horacio Pere shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiburcio Ibañez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tonono reached it. 90 minutes into the game, Pedro Amato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiburcio Ibañez. Pedro Amato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pinchas FC's zone, Cleto Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ibañez came out of the goal and Cleto Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
