The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Godfredo Peli put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villa Mitre Jr FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Cafferata. Samuel Dolfo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Godfredo Oskitz. 1-0. Cafferata's Delmiro Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Bastiaro in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre Jr FC's Filomeno Cidro got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes of play, Villa Mitre Jr FC's Fidel Bastiaro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Villa Mitre Jr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Cafferata's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Bastiaro came free, but Delmiro Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fidel Bastiaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Vasco was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Delmiro Vasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Bastiaro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Filomeno Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre Jr FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Cidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Vasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Bastiaro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Caetano to make the kick off. Delmiro Vasco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Bastiaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. After 59 played minutes Villa Mitre Jr FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Lleir. Fidel Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Delmiro Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Mitre Jr FC. When Fidel Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Villa Mitre Jr FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. Fidel Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Vasco having to interfere. Javier Maurino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fidel Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre Jr FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cafferata booed when Villa Mitre Jr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Ostargi got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Delmar Bide. The Cafferata fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villa Mitre Jr FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
