The audience thought a goal was coming when Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate got free with Arnoldo Kauldi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Hilario Guilabertus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnoldo Kauldi, 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. There was no doubt that General Roca were the better team. General Roca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
