Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Brun during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Moncaliari got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Brun. After a rather tough play, Moncaliari's Aldo Artizar got a free kick in the 11th minute. Rincón's Jaime Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Pacifico in the 14th minute of play. Zeledon Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jaime Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rincón getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elias Guerrero hit a great ball. Rincón's Jaime Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Pacifico in the 31st minute of play. Moncaliari's Isidro Guillen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Moncaliari from getting a goal against them. Isidro Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Cosme Pacifico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st minute Zeledon Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Cucao to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rincón's goalkeeper Jaime Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Lano. Moncaliari's Isidro Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Cucao in the 58th minute of play. Fidel Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. In the 88th minute, Lino Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lino Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Moncaliari defense, Lino Bitxintxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Guillen. The Moncaliari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Guillen should have stopped the shot.
