The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Bitxintxo got free with Venancio Ihazintu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Candelaria FC had played much better football throughout.
