Fabian Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cebo having to interfere. Fabian Idacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Eli didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Fabian Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los DaniChichas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Sunderland A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Distiratsu came free, but Daniel Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Sunderland A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Dubardo. Daniel Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Idacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Sunderland A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Curcio. Daniel Cebo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Los DaniChichas FC's Fabian Idacio. But to his dismay, Fabian Idacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Flavio Eli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Romero in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los DaniChichas FC's zone, Benigno Gabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Eli came out of the goal and Benigno Gabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Los DaniChichas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gogo Romero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Los DaniChichas FC's Flavio Eli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Gabino in the 43rd minute of play. Fabian Idacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Cebo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Idacio ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Distiratsu to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Julián Álvarez put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Eli. If Gilberto Distiratsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Gabino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Eli having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gogo Romero in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Eli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los DaniChichas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lisandro Estavan was slow to take the kick. During this time Sunderland A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sunderland A.F.C.'s corner Lisandro Estavan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Eli quite easily take care of the ball. Flavio Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Flavio Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Romero in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Gabino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Eli was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Flavio Eli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Gabino's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Gogo Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Los DaniChichas FC's Victor Laurgain got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lisandro Estavan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Flavio Eli right hand side. In the 89th minute Gogo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los DaniChichas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sunderland A.F.C..
