Santos Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Tonete having to interfere. In the 8th minute Mauro Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Oskarbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Cresitobalo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hilario Oskarbi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guano FC. If Santos Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, Guano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Papo came free, but Justino Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Santos Papo. Justino Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Papo in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Santos Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saavedra's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Tonete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Jaime Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saavedra's Astor Oalo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guano FC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Cresitobalo made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Cresitobalo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Oskarbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Oskarbi having to interfere. Justino Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Emenon's late challenge caught a Guano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. Hilario Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aureliano Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hilario Oskarbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Fausto Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Basilio Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Rosalio struck a weak shot in the 98th minute.
