Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luisito Guib made the kick off which started today's match. If Benjamin Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Isidro Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneizes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Merexildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Loco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gogo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Xeneizes FC's goalkeeper Augusto Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Teodor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Paulin in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Ignacio Paulin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gogo Loco. Golden River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Paulin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benjamin Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Loco having to interfere. In the 26th minute Isidro Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes FC's zone, Artemio Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Lano came out of the goal and Artemio Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Golden River booed when Xeneizes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Ezequiel Urdaspal in the 31st minute really tested Augusto Lano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden River's goalkeeper Gogo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Omar Roano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gogo Loco. Golden River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Roano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Augusto Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Guib in the 43rd minute of play. If Isidro Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Jesus Gustau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ignacio Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Augusto Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Teodor in the 67th minute of play. With his leg Gogo Loco managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Xeneizes FC's Ignacio Paulin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Golden River's Artemio Eleder got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Golden River's zone, Benjamin Inautzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Loco came out of the goal and Benjamin Inautzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Roano charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Roano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Xeneizes FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Omar Roano hit a great ball. Augusto Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Isidro Merexildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Loco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Gogo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Inautzi in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Golden River booed when Xeneizes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes, Golden River's Ezequiel Urdaspal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Lano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden River reached it. Gogo Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Merexildo in the 88th minute. Ignacio Paulin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Golden River got a freekick which was hit by Victor Pueblo. Benjamin Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Loco having to interfere.
