Ernesto Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Naranjito booed when Cerati F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Endura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Johans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ernesto Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjito's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Iratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ernesto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute.
