The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Iratze to strike the kick off in the second half. Naranjito's Ernesto Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naranjito's Claudio Cefero was substituted for Edelmiro Gelacio. Cristo Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Naranjito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Dario Odon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Alonso in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Naranjito fully deserved thier win.
