After 14 minutes of play, Naranjito's Alto Wach made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillermo Mel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Naranjito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zeledon Irrintzi in the 22nd minute. The corner led Naranjito's Zeledon Irrintzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillermo Mel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ernesto Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Naranjito booed when Cacheuta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Cacheuta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Naranjito:s goal. Ramon Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Mel having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Ernesto Iratze made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cacheuta's Guillermo Mel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Iratze to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Mel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Alto Wach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Naranjito reached it. 72 minutes into the game, Niceto Hermon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacheuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naranjito the free kick. After 72 played minutes Cacheuta got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Hermon. A collision led to Cacheuta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Niceto Hermon hit a great ball. When Ernesto Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Naranjito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Iratze couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Iratze struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Guillermo Mel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Naranjito fully deserved thier win.
